Colour INKspriation #49, 13Feb 2019!

Hi everyone, in case you didn't know I won the Colour INKspiration challenge #48 for December 2018.  Because oif this I've been given a guest designer spot this month.



This is the image and colours to take INKspiration from, isn't it the best!  Nice bright colours, just like I love!

I created two cards for this challenge.  For my first card, I have taken a piece of card stock in each colour and stuck it to some multipurpose adhesive sheets to create my background card piece. I then ran it through my Bigshot machine with the  Tin Tile Dynamic embossing folder, sponged over with Tuxedo black to.  I cut out some hearts from the Be Mine Stitched framelits but I didn't use that heart, if you look at the sample, you'll see I've used the bit that the framelits cut out from the heart. I thought that looked pretty nice so used them instead of the first heart I'd chosen.  So don't waste those middle bits, they can be quite handy.  Isn't it pretty!

For my 2nd card, I've created a 13cm square thick white card base, a layer of basic black then cut out the hearts from the four colours, cut out the small white hearts and cut them in half so they could be layered as shown in this photo.   Add a sentiment, simples!

FF@F'o'clock'ish, 11th January 2019

Welcome back to FF@F'o'clock'ish, it's lovely to have you visit.

This week I am sharing with you a lovely surprise I received this week.  I entered a colour challenge via a Facebook page called "Colour INKspiration"  I'd only joined recently so had not taken part before and woohoo, the very last one of 2018 I entered, number 48, and I won.

To win you actually have to be voted for. So all of those lovely people who voted for me, thank you so much!  Below is the card I created along with the photo for inspiration.  I have won a guest designer spot for February 2019!  Yay, what a great way to start 2019!



Below is the photo we had been given to take inspiration from.  There were many wonderful creations so I feel rather blessed to have been chosen by my peers as the winner!



It's the most amazing photo too.  Below is a list of the products I used to create my winning entry.  Want to know how I did it?  Leave a comment and I'll endeavour to create a tutorial video for you all!.  A short post this FF@F because I have to head back to my father's again.  He has been taken to hospital again on Thursday morning and they are keeping him in overnight this time.  I will be seeing my own gp tomorrow then heading up to the central coast straight afterwards.

Colour INKspiration challenge #48

Surprise!  A post on a Saturday.

(29th December 2018)

I recently joined a closed Facebook Group called Colour INKspirations. It's a group that posts 2 challenges per month approximately. You create using their colour theme and post it to the group.  This is what I created using their photo as inspiration for my colour scheme.  I saw a beach in that photo but didn't really want to go down that path so stuck to using just the colours and a new stamp coming next month.

And here is my creation using those colours. I think I hit the brief ok if I do say so myself!





This beautiful floral stamp set will be available from 3rd January 2019, isn't it beautiful! I've stamped it using Versamark ink onto water colour paper, heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I saturated the paper with water. Using an aqua painter brush I picked up ink from the lids of my ink pads (yes I still have the old styled ones) and let the colour bleed where I wanted it to go.  Loved making this, love water colouring. But I recon a lot of  you knew that already hey?
