
Well hello again and welcome to another fabulous Friday at 5'o'clock'ish!
This week I'm revisiting a technique because I earned this really lovely stamp set through the Sale-A-Bration promotion and want to show it off.
I have always loved doing this technique. I don't know if it has an 'official' name but it's along the lines of direct to rubber but instead of the rubber stamp, it's direct to the clear acrylic block! I take a clean smooth acrylic block, swipe my ink pad across it with several different colours. Tip: start from lightest to the darkest colours). I then get plain water in a very fine mist bottle and spritz the block. Next I stamp the block directly onto water colour paper. I don't lift if up straight away, I smoosh it around about and move it from side to side, up and down to get all the ink off the block.
