Welcome back to another Fabulous Fridays @ Five'o'clock,

the original and the best!

This week I'm showing off some new papers that are in the new Occasions catalogue.  My goodness, my head's been spinning there are so many gorgeous products in this edition, you will not be sorry.  Plus, the gifts for purchasing during the Sale-a-bration period (3rd January to 31st March 2019) are some of, if not the best yet!  If you have been eying off those gorgeous Organdy ribbons as a Sale-A-Bration gift, I'm sorry to tell you that because they've been the most popular item in a long time, they are now out of stock.  See other things you like?   Don't hesitate, there is no guarantee stocks will last, first in first gifted!

So what have I made this week?  Well I was following a blog hop recently and came across a beautiful card that uses the Framelits set called 'Puzzle Pieces".  It also has a lovely stamp set to team with it called "Love You To Pieces".  With Valentine's Day fast approaching, I thought I'd run with a 'Love' theme today!  Many thanks go to Kelly Kent for her post on how to make this card!

Below are listed the materials I've used that are linked to my online store.  I hope you like this, it wasn't anywhere near as complicated as it looks!  I've had this stamp set and framelit dies for at least 6 months, finally I've christened them and I am very happy with my creation today!  Now to hide it from the hubby til next month!

'til next time,

Happy stamping, colouring and creating!

NewFFatFoclockNov2018

Welcome back to FF@F'o'clock'ish, it's lovely to have you visit.

This week I am sharing with you a lovely surprise I received this week.  I entered a colour challenge via a Facebook page called "Colour INKspiration"  I'd only joined recently so had not taken part before and woohoo, the very last one of 2018 I entered, number 48, and I won.

Image may contain: textTo win you actually have to be voted for. So all of those lovely people who voted for me, thank you so much!  Below is the card I created along with the photo for inspiration.  I have won a guest designer spot for February 2019!  Yay, what a great way to start 2019!

No photo description available.

Below is the photo we had been given to take inspiration from.  There were many wonderful creations so I feel rather blessed to have been chosen by my peers as the winner!

No photo description available.

It's the most amazing photo too.  Below is a list of the products I used to create my winning entry.  Want to know how I did it?  Leave a comment and I'll endeavour to create a tutorial video for you all!.  A short post this FF@F because I have to head back to my father's again.  He has been taken to hospital again on Thursday morning and they are keeping him in overnight this time.  I will be seeing my own gp tomorrow then heading up to the central coast straight afterwards.

So til next time

happy stamping, colouring & creating!

#SimpleStamping, 7th January 2019!

G'day!   Today I've created (after many takes, you don't want to ask LOL) my next attempt at #SimpleStampin!  A challenge Stampin' Up! have put out to us demonstrators to show you, our customers, just how simple but beautiful stamping can be!

Here's today's creation. Yes I did make many versions of this card. No you do NOT want to see my many false starts to get this video done ROFL.  I think I dropped a few 'clangers' in them so they've been deleted ;-)

Over the years I have done a few versions of this kind of card.  Remember that stamp set 'Gorgeous Grunge?  Yes, that got a huge work out that set back then, remember this...

Sale-A-Bration ribbon flowers 5 Jan 2019

Hello everyone

I have made a little video tutorial today to share with my fellow Crazy Crafter team and I thought you would all like to see it too.  It's not quite the same as on page 7 of the Sale-A-Bration flyer but pretty close to it.

OrgandyRibbonPackX5

It was trial an error earlier today using different types of gluing methods.  What I have found that works well for me, might not for you, so do play around with them.  I have used two circle punches, one is quite small, about 1/2cm in diametre and the other is approximately 1cm in diametre.  Remember, these ribbons are only available as a free gift with any purchases through my online store of $90AU and above.  A list of what I've used is in my product listing below.   I hope you can get the gist of how I made these flowers through my little video tutorial.

One method, I layered strips of tear and tape onto scrap card stock then punched out my circles. The other method, I made circles of multipurpose liquid glue and let them dry to tacky then punched out the size circles I wanted.  If you are concerned about gunking up your punches, punch the shapes out first then add the glue. It's fiddly as you'll see in my video but you won't get glue inside your punches.

I'll be back later to show you a finished card using these

little flowers, 'bye for now,

and remember

happy stamping, colouring & creating!

NewFFatFoclockNov2018

Well hello there and welcome to my first

Fabulous Friday's at Five'o'clock'ish post for 2019!

New year, new products, new outlook, new beginnings!  It's all happening.  Only a couple more weeks before this pair have their official engagement party too! What a fabulous way to start 2019.

Image may contain: Benjamin Hampson and Kat Burke, people smiling, glasses and beard

AND, what a fabulous way to celebrated being a Stampin' Up Demonstrator by promoting to a new level as a Demonstrator!  Yes, I promoted to Silver!  Thank you to everyone for your support and encouragement for getting me this far. I never dreamed 9 months ago I'd have reached this level, one I'd never before got to!  So thank you from the bottom of my heart to you all!   Now on with some gorgeous creations using brand new products you can now purchase through my online store.

Can you say butterflies?  Yes butterflies.

Well the wait is over, new stamp sets, new punches, new thinlits dies too!  The new Occasions catalogue and Sale-A-Bration flyer has them all and then some!

I've created two different cards but with similar colour schemes, hope you like them.  A list of products used is below in the product list.

NoteWhen using fine detailed thinlits, adhere your card stock to multi purpose adhesive sheets FIRST before running through your bigshot machine.  This will make it so much easier to adhere those fine butterfly shapes to each other.

My first card I took inspiration from the amazing Patty Bennett, a US demonstrator who I think loves colour as much as I do! Thanks Patty!!   The second, well, who doesn't love sponging and layering pretty butterflies. That new punch is gorgeous and I'm now no longer regretful that I sold my butterfly punches and stamps a couple of years ago, these more than make up for that!

See that gorgeous organza and satin Grapefruit Grove ribbon?  You could earn a roll of it along with 4 other colours as a 5 roll page during Sale-A-Bration.  They are so pretty, take a look...

OrgandyRibbonPackX5

That's Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather and Lemon Lime Twist. Each roll has 4.6 metres of ribbon on it!  5 free rolls, who doesn't love that!  They all coordinate beautifully with the new 6"x6" paper pack, Gingham Gala, on page 35 of the Occasions catalogue!

So til next time, remember,

happy stamping, colouring and creating!
