Fabulous Fridays @ Five'o'clock, 22nd November 2019!

NewFabulousFridaysOct2019

Hello and welcome to another Fabulous Friday at 5'o'clock, FFAF'ish to some!

Where has the week gone let alone the year?  It's flown by and we are nearly into December.  It's only 8 days til my son marries his beautiful fiance too!

Are you in Australia? Want a copy of the catalogue?  Drop me a line with your details at this email addy:  wirgei101@gmail.com !

This week I've created the cutest card. The stamp set isn't available yet but I couldn't wait to play with it. Last week at Onstage in Sydney, attendees were able to order early a selection of products that will be available in the newly named Mini Catalogue. It will be available from 3rd January 2020!  Now I know that's a little while away but this stamp set is ONLY available to customers who make a $500AU+ purchase!  It's free in the new Sale-A-Bration flyer.  So are you getting money for Christmas?  Have you been saving waiting for the Sale-A-Bration period to hit?  Then you can get this set!

20191121_155643I love it to bits. It was the first thing I put on my early order. Along with that gorgeous paper you can see the card sitting on too.  It's called Best Dressed and is in a stack of 6"x6" double sided patterned papers.  And oh my, they are gorgeous!

To create this card, I stamped the flower twice, coloured the base in, then coloured in the 2nd stamping just those three petals. I used dimensionals behind it to raise it up to look 3d. I coloured all of this card with water colour pencils. I fussy cut out the lady bug and when I adhered it to the card, I used two layers of mini dimensionals on the wings so they stood out like 3D as well.  See those sequins?  The flower ones I've layered onto the clear ones, they are new in the Mini Catalogue as well.

Stay tuned, I got lots of new products in my delivery Thursday morning.  I will have more to show you over the next few weeks!

happy stamping, colouring & creating!

Tutu Tuesday is here again! 19th November 2019

TutuTuesdayJune2019Floral1a

This gorgeous tutu is brought to you today by my friend Corinne who send me this post card all the way from Paris recently. The artist is Edgar Degas (1834 - 1917)  Look at all those pretty tutus!  Thanks Corinne ♥

Today I bring to you a video I made yesterday to show you some of the gorgeous items I brought home from the weekend's live OnStage Local even at the Sydney International Conference Centre.  What a fabulous celebration of all things Stampin' Up!®. And how generous they are are along with all the beautiful people I met!

Check out the covers of the new mini catalogue and Sale-a-bration catalogue, aren't they gorgeous!  And on the right, that's the front cover of a fabulous spiral bound note pad we were all given.  I was blessed to get two of them, yay me!

Below my video are photos of the four make & takes I did whilst at the event too.  All the products are new to this gorgeous catalogue that will go live on 3 January 2020!  This is when the annual Sale-a-bration period begins too.

Yes, I kept a couple of the beautiful grid paper sheets that were on our tables and I laminated them because they are my most favourite so far.  I am hoping if enough of us demonstrators ask, we may be able to purchase some like the beautiful floral one from last year. I live in hope!!!!

Have you got a wish list worth $169.00AU or more?  Why not join my team during that time and get $235.00Au worth of any products of your choice. Joining at this time there is also a bonus to be available only for new demonstrators.  I will have more about the 'Bonus' very soon, hopefully next week!  When you join me during the Sale-A-Bration period you also earn free items from the Sale-A-Bration flyer too.  What's not to love about that? 20% discount on all purchases too!  There's no pressure to sell either, I would never do that to any of my team.  If you don't feel like it's a good fit for you, that's fine, you'll have had the opportunity to purchase at a discount and I'm always around if you need advice/help on anything.

Here is a direct link should you want to join me...

As  you can see, there are some amazing products coming.  I am restricted in what I can show you, that is, the inside of the catalogue. I have place a Product Purchase Premier order so will have new products to play with very soon.  That's another perk you get being a demonstrator and attending OnStage events. You get to order items before everyone else, even other demonstrators who were not at the events!  Have to love that!

So til next time,

happy stampin, colouring & creating!

FF@F'o'clock'ish! 15th November 2019!

NewFabulousFridaysOct2019

Welcome everyone,

This is a quick post today.  You see, OnStage is happening this weekend and hubby and I are celebrating early, not only our wedding anniversary, but his birthday as well by spending the whole weekend in the city of Sydney!

I'm sharing  my OnStage swaps.  They were so easy to make because Stampin' Up!® have such fabulous products.  I made about 60+ of these and each one has Lindt chocolate inside!  These little Mini Curvy Keepsake boxes are the bomb! I love them!  There are so many other things you can put inside them. You could even make a garland out of them, they are such a lovely size!

20191114_171213

Firstly I cut my designer series papers down to 6"x6" squares, this is the perfect size to cut out the Mini Curvy Keepsake boxes. You could use 6"x 6" paper stacks too, remember the pretty silver foiled ones I did a few months back?  Yes, those were made using the Feels Like Frost papers!

trioMiniKeepsakes2019B

I still have a Bigshot die cutting machine but because that ment cranking the handle for every single one, I used my electric eBoss machine. Using it I could put 2 and some times 3 sheets through at the same time. It sure made getting them cut very quick.  As soon as I have more information from Stampin' Up! about a new Die Cutting Machine you'll be the first to know!!  I even managed to fit onto a Dymo LabelWriter450 sticker all my details and what products I've used!

MiniCurvySwap1a

Using my bone folder I gently curved all the flaps inwards, making sure I had selected what side of the paper I wanted on the outside.  Folded them all together leaving one side open to insert the chocolate.  It is a good idea to do this because when put together they sit much better and you can't see inside them.  Once they were all done, I punched out the 2 different sized scalloped circle punches. I made the smaller ones white and stamped 'Hello' on it. That Hello stamp has been used so much, it's from the Beauty Abounds stamp set!  Using up the off cuts from the die cutting, I punched out butterflies using just the small one from the Butterfly Duet punch. Attached one to each of the layered circles then adhered one to each of the boxes, tadah, done!

Check out the lovely Lindt chocolates I got from the factory outlet not 15 minutes from my place!  The ladies on the check out had never seen anyone pack that many into their smallest gift box before.  It was like doing a Tetris(?) puzzle, I was very patient putting them in. My friend who was with me was gobsmaked.  I counted about 76 in that box. I did give some to a friend as a thank for something, the rest, well, they are ready to hand out on Saturday!

BoxOfChoc1.jpg

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.  I shall be spending all day at the Sydney International Convention Centre (the ICC most call it) taking in all the new information from Stampin' Up!® AND  receiving advanced copies of both the Occasions 2020 catalogue along with the 2020 Sale-A-Bration flyer!  Boy I shall have lots to share with you next week that's for sure.  And watch for me on Instagram, you'll find me under #wirgie101 on there.

Til next time, remember

happy stamping, colouring & creating!

NewFabulousFridaysOct2019

Not 5am but still Fabulous Friday!

Welcome back, welcome if you are new, I hope you are having an enjoyable Friday!

This week I'm getting away from Christmas cards again. I recently bought a few new stamp sets and finally have 'christened' this lovely one called Tasteful Textures!  And as many may have already guessed, I love bright, bold colours, particularly Australian landscape shades. You know, the red dust plains, the burnt orange sundowns etc.

I've done sponging, stamping and even used a layer of vellum on this little creation.

StampedSpongedBackgroundVHampson1a

Note: when using vellum to stamp on, it's a good idea to have your heat tool handy to help dry the ink on the vellum, you don't want it to smudge/smear.

Tutu Tuesday revisited....

This is a blog post from 27th October 2017 that I am revisiting.  I know, I've been a tad pre-occupied with pre-wedding events, helping out my Dad & sister and a few other things the Herbster and I have had going on.   I thought why not revisit this technique because it's a favourite of mine and I do like slightly 'different' Christmas cards that maybe no one's thought of doing.  I hope you like this...

Hello everyone!

This week I am using a technique that I've always loved and it's so easy.  I'm making more Christmas cards & this is such an quick technique too.   Basic supplies for this are acrylic blocks to suit the size you want to stamp, water in a spritzer, several coordinating ink pads & a nice tree stamp (edit: I used Lovely as a Tree stamp set but as it is now retired I've added a new card made this afternoon using the Winter Woods stamp set.  Both sets are/were so versatile!

Here we go, first gather your supplies!

accidentally wet the wrong thing.
