FF@F'o'clock! 23rd Nov, 2018!

NewFFatFoclockNov2018

Welcome to another Fabulous Friday. No matter where you are in the world, most people look forward to Fridays, I know I do because it means my hubby is home for the weekend and we can catch up on so much we missed with each other during the week.  He keeps such long hours and with a massive commute over to the far east of Sydney, it's a long trek for him.

This week I'm doing something a little different.  I'm going to share with you a video I made to show you a lot of the gorgeous swaps I received at the recent Melbourne conference I attended.  It's so hard to thank everyone personally and it's taken me til now to get things sorted, places found for new products as well as get journeys up to my father's place and back fitted in.  So grab a cuppa and enjoy what I am showing you all.

I am heading back up to Dad's for 2 days next week.  He goes for the scans to see if the radiation treatment he's just undergone for lung cancer has helped. So far, apart from a cold, he said he's feeling fine.

If you are the praying kind, please keep my Daddy in your prayers. And me for that fact. It's a long drive up there, then almost 2/3's of the way back to get him to the hospital he has to go to then back up to his place again.  I drove it in one day yesterday and my goodness, there's so many road works going on that it was a bit hairy scarry in some places. What's with truckies and some nutbar drivers thinking they can speed through the 80k/hr construction zones?  They can all bite me coz I'm not jeopordizing my driving record so they can get some where faster.  They can pay the fines and loose their licenses, not me!

Anywhoooo, here's the video and below are a couple of still shots too. Yes my desk was swamped  ;-)

Tutu Tuesday's Tutorial, 6 Nov, 2018

TutuTuesdayNewHeader3Nov2018

Hey there everyone,

I've a very cute little project for you today. It kind of has a tutu look to it too.

I have to thank one of my fellow demonstrators, Ellen Budden for sharing this with our team last week.  I ran with it and added a little step to make the head attach a little easier than the original video Ellen shared (which was by a UK demonstrator, Gaynor Boyce)

One sheet of 6"x6" patterned paper (the 6x6 packs are great for these), scoring and gluing and a few matching scraps for the head and maybe a bit extra on the back like in one of my finished photos.  Easy as!  Let's get started........

These are the first two I made as I worked out how to more easily attach the heads.

And here is how I masked the eskimo stamp...

Fabulous Fridays @ Five'o'Clock'ishHeaderJpeg

Welcome back to another Fabulous Friday at 5'o'clock'ish, the original, the first and the most fabulous Friday post!

That's FF@F'ish for short!

This week I'm sharing with you the very new and available for the month of November 2018 only, Snowfall Thinlits Dies!   I decided to create anything but Christmas or winter themed creations using this die set to show you it's not just for those seasons.

Some may have seen the gorgeous gold, black and white card I made earlier in the week. Here it is and it's not going to be shown to my nearest and dearest because I'm going to give it to him for our Wedding anniversary next month.  Isn't it fabulous!

This next creation I've created by using the rather newly introduced earlier this year,   Big Shot Embossing Mats. With these mats you can use your Big Shot and Dies to emboss rather than cut out, very handy and expands your collection of dies into embossing folders. How good is that!

Want to see how to layer the mats to achieve embossing with your Thinlits dies?  Take a look at the video Chad from head office made to show you.  I couldn't have made a clip as good as Chad made.

So till next time,

happy stamping, colouring & creating!
