Yesterday was a right off, life has had a few ups and downs lately.  As there won't be a FF@F'o'clockish post this week either (I'll be out of Sydney from Thursday)  I thought I'd make these videos showing you how I've coloured in the Blended Seasons stamp using water colour pencils.

REMEMBER:  The Blended Seasons stamp set & matching dies (if you get both as a bundle you save 10%)  plus the Watercolour pencils set two (not part of a bundle) are ONLY available until midnight 31st August 2018. This week I've created a video demonstration that shows just how quick and simple it is to put together some gorgeous Christmas cards, all using a new card kit and new stamp set that is due to go on sale 5th September.  This would have to be one of, if not the most beautiful card kits to date. Brilliantly designed elements, gorgeous rich colours, accents of gold, the kit has it all. Add in the stamp set that coordinates, black ink, some adhesive and well, it's winner in my eyes!

About those new embossing mats...

Yes, another post and it's not Tuesday or Friday.

I saw this video recently made by one of the staff at the Stampin Up home office.  I thought, that's much better than me trying to make one and explain how.

Have you noticed on page 221 of the current annual catalogue the Big Shot Embossing Mats????  No?  Go take a look, then watch this video.  What these mats do is almost  double the uses of all your framelits, thinlits and edglits dies.  So, sit back and take a look at Chad's video and see how it's done!  Best $26.00 spent for sure!

Take Your Pick Tool review-20Aug2018

Hi everyone.

I've created this quick video to show you the new Take Your Pick Tool that is going to be available come 5th September in the Holiday catalogue.  I show another brand's tool which I've had for years and really wasn't impressed with it. Particularly the end with the reversable perspex piercer & spatula, total rubbish as it bent the first time I tried to use the piercing end.   Stamping up have not only improved on that design, they've gone a step further making the Take Your Pick tool a 5 in 1 tool, YES, I said it is a 5 in 1 tool!  Have a look!

Trust me, once you start using grid paper to help 1) keep your work surface clean and two help in placements and measuring your projects, you'll wonder why you never bought some before now!



And this is what is left behind after you've cut out the label pieces. You can use this edge piece to make a window/shaker card!

Tutu Tuesday's Tutorial, a little late....

Edited to include below, photos of finished card.

Welcome back, sorry for the delay, I'm still in holiday mode. Also the start of hayfever season has hit in a big way and I'm feeling rather sluggish at the moment with a very stuffy head.

How do you like this weeks Tutu, soooooo stinkin' cute as our American friends may say. And it's kind of in keeping with the flower theme of this weeks project too.



This week, I'm using the gorgeous Blended Blooms stamp, embossed with copper embossing powder and coloured in a slightly different way with my water colour pencils.

I hope you enjoy this. I do not believe there is anyone who can't achieve lovely effects with these beautiful pencils. So grab a cuppa and enjoy!
