Welcome everyone to a mid week post filled with lots of exciting news!
Firstly I have to say many happy returns to my dear son Benjamin on his birthday today! 27yrs ago you came into your father's and my lives bring so much fun and joy. We are so proud of the man you have become and look forward to celebrating your engagement and marriage to your beautiful Kat and new son, Aiden! An instant family. It takes a special man to become an instant father to a little boy. We know how much he adores you as we know you do him. We have to say we are so happy to have a daughter and a grandson now and look forward to another baby in maybe the not so distant future!

Soooooo where has Wirgie been lately? Well, when last Friday's FF@F blog post went live, and I hope you liked it, I was in Melbourne checking in to our hotel for the weekend. I'd scheduled it before leaving Sydney.
Why was I in Melbourne? For the fabulous OnStage Local Melbourne Stampin' Up! event!
And yes, we were given advanced copies of the new 2019 Occasions catalogue along with the 2019 Sale-A-Bration flyer as well. I can't share what is inside yet but let me tell you, when you look through this Occasions catalogue you will want to be looking in the Sale-A-Bration flyer because soooo much coordinates. Love butterflies, flowers, you won't be disappointed :-) And there is much more!
My bestie, Maggie & I had the most wonderful time. I hope you saw my tutorial yesterday on how I made my cute little swaps. They were a big hit. I had so many, I hope the left overs were found and enjoyed. LOL, I left them in a 'strategic' spot so anyone could help themselves to them.

Today I'm sharing just a 'teaser' of some new products coming. One thing I have to say is Stampin' Up! do listen to all our suggestions and take onboard loads of suggestions and ideas their customers and demonstrators give them.
One big thing, starting with this new catalogue, is wood mounted stamps are going to be phased out. There will still be polymer and cling/clear stamps. Yes, SU have listened to us with our clear mounts and have developed a new cling film on the stamp stickers so they DO cling and cling very well. Take a look at this video one my fellow demonstrators in the UK made showing how they work. I couldn't make a better video myself, so a big thanks to Sarah Berry for making this video!

Now I don't know about you, but just the fact that wood mounts take up double the storage room has me cheering. I converted to the clear mounts as soon as SU brought them out. It's no secret I live in a tiny two bedroom house so I have to make the most of my storage. This is brilliant AND great for the environment because SU will no longer need to source wood for their gorgeous stamps!
So have a look at some of my photos below and enjoy some insight into what being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator can be like. Want to be a Demonstrator too? Contact me today because this is one of, if not THE best, companies to be an independent demonstrator for.
